Happy Pi-day! Ravens love pi. In fact, when offered a slice of pie they replied, "Nevermore..." Anyways, here's what's changed:
Markdown preview
The message composer now has a preview toggle. Click the eye icon to see how your markdown will render before sending. Bold, italic, lists, blockquotes, links - all visible exactly as they'll appear in the chat. Click again to go back to editing. It works in both the compose area and when editing an existing message.
Smarter formatting
The formatting toolbar got more intuitive. If your cursor is sitting on a word and you click Bold, that word gets bolded. No need to select it first. Same goes for italic, strikethrough, and links. The keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl+B, Ctrl+I) work the same way. Nothing innovative about that, but certainly expected behavior.
Blockquotes also render correctly now. Previously, text after a blockquote could get pulled into it. That's fixed.
Housekeeping
A batch of quality-of-life improvements landed behind the scenes:
- Password reset - You can now reset your password via email. No more hardcore mode if you forgot your password.
- Age confirmation - The waitlist form has an age confirmation checkbox at signup.
- Game settings - GMs can now edit their game's title and description after creation.
